Superbowl Sunday had everyone buzzing with excitement! With bets made, memes and theories shared, the football game is not the only thing that everyone looked forward to watching. Luke Bryan performed the National Anthem, putting his own country spin on America’s song. Everyone is raving about Lady Gaga’s performance during the halftime show. The roof jump, from the top of the Houston Stadium, and the mic drop left the audience amazed.

But aside from the musical performances, there is something that America looks forward to watching every year. That’s right, the super bowl commercials. There were quite a variety this year, ranging from comedic, dramatic, heartwarming, musical, political and just overall strange. Several movie trailers were also released, including Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 2 and Pirates of the Caribbean: Dead Men Tell No Tales.

My personal favorite was the Tide commercial, starring Terry Bradshaw. This commercial featured Bradshaw getting barbecue sauce on his shirt and “trending” from this incident. As he goes to extreme measures to get away from the public seeing his stain, Bradshaw gets a chance to relax and watch some tv while Tide does the job for him. He can then eat a messy sandwich without the worry that he will ruin his shirt because he knows that Tide will get the job done. “No stain deserves fame”.

T-Mobile advertises their company’s unlimited data plan with the dynamic duo, Martha Stewart and Snoop Dogg. Martha attempts to finish Snoop’s sentence about how he feels about the new deal and it’s quite animated. Leading up to a smartphone sweater, “it’s all that and more”!

Melissa Mccarthy stars in an Kia Niro advertisement for the 2017 Eco Hybrid. The comedic actress goes through several challenges to help save the environment. This particular commercial is aimed toward the left of the, hence the environment being the largest issues in the world.
