A snow storm started in Northern Florida on Wednesday, January 3rd, 2018. Florida picked up 3-4 inches. Blizzard and Winter Storm Warnings stretched all the way from North Carolina to Northern Maine. Maine and New Hampshire had recorded as much as 65 inches of snow.

The northeast also got another punch of snow on Monday. After the storm, the streets had gotten 2 feet of ocean water, which froze every car to the ground. So, basically this was a winter hurricane. The snowstorm was so much more powerful than a traditional snowstorm due to a phenomenon known as bombogenesis.
