voices3“I go to my grandma’s house.  We sit down, have dinner, open presents, and then just play fun games.  Games like Minute to Win it, except they are Christmas themed.”- Reece Colberg, freshman

voices-2“I like sitting by the fireplace at my grandma’s house and listening to stories” – Anthony Wittliff, sophomore

voices1“My favorite holiday for Christmas is going over to my dad’s side of the family.  We all sit in my grandparents basement and it’s crowded and there’s so many people because we have a massive family.  We do all of the presents and stuff and it’s all fun, and then we have like a thirty minute long wrapping paper fight.  It gets hectic because people are climbing over each other and it’s pretty interesting how it happens.  My grandparents will even participate and they’re in their 70s.  It’s just really fun, and then all the kids get together and then we start throwing it all away, and then we have dinner.  And then we just lounge.” – Isabelle Kulow, junior

beth“My favorite holiday tradition is when we get out our really old music boxes that play Christmas music and we hear them all December.  And when I get to make food for Christmas with my relatives.” – Beth Schueffner, senior

conklin“One tradition that I’m really looking forward to is we go to Christmas Eve Mas and then, my family, we go out to dinner and have a great time.  We play a little pool.  And it’s just great to spend time together where we don’t have any other things on the agenda aside from enjoying the holiday and being together.” – Mr. James Conklin
